About

Kasia Klon (or Katarzyna Klonowska) is a painter, printmaker and a nomad, born in Olsztyn, Poland, curently based in Paris.

 

In 2013 she received her MFA with honors from The Strzemiński Academy of Art with a major in Printmaking and annex in Illustration. It was presented at Best Diplomas of 2013, Prime Time exhibition in Lodz, Poland. Her work was also noticed at 15th International Triennial of Small Graphic Forms, Poland – Łódź or 7th Shanghai Fu Xian Zhai International Exlibris Competitions, China, where she got honored with the Excellent Prize for Prints. 
Her works were presented at numerous group and solo exhibitions,
as well as international projects such as The Rape of Europe, A Simultaneous Exhibition of Printmaking and Installation (collaboration

between: Brazil, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal and Spain).

She currently lives and works in Paris, where in 2014 she got selectet by the Polish community in France as the second most creative Polish woman living in France (Polonaise Créative en France).
